Around the House
I currently have no access to my account for the Hmmmdingers Hat Club so if any member needs to email me please use cedarmountainnews@hotmail.com for now.
This has been a crazy week. The craziest thing that happened was getting trapped in a bathroom stall. The door wouldn’t open and no one was close by. I soon discovered I was still limber enough to belly crawl under the door as distasteful as that was.
One of the most generous and surprising things I’ve heard in a long while was when a friend and I were discussing what we would have done with that billion + dollar lottery winning. She said she would give all of her friends (including me) a million dollars each. Wow! I’m pleased that I am counted among her friends.
From last Friday to last Tuesday I was computer free. My computer was in the “hospital” and I didn’t realize how much time I spent on it until I didn’t have it. Some problems have been eliminated but I have been blocked out of two of my email accounts. The “fix” by outlook/hotmail does not work. I could write an entire page on this. You will be hearing more.
I currently have no access to my account for the HmmmDingers Hat Club so if any member needs to email me please use cedarmountainnews@hotmail.com for now. Being computer free I did get a lot done (around the house). I watched another one of those hoarder shows and went to work on drawers and cupboards. I found a vintage toiletry item that expired in 1996. I also discovered that I had duplicate (some expired) ointments and several bottles, tubes and jars of body lotions. I would be soft as a baby’s bottom if I used it all. Then there were the itty bitty bottles of shampoo and lotions picked up at motels.
Years ago I received a copy of Martha Cilley’s (The Fly Lady) Sink Reflections book and scoffed loudly at her words. However I have been taking bits of her suggestions to heart and have made some progress. So far I am keeping my sinks shiny.
Thanks to Christine for doing the news last week in my computer’s absence. I sometimes wish I had a home like Christine described but my little log cabin is not even close. Everyone asks if I have a really big head from what she wrote. Ha! I actually sing tenor with two choirs, Rocky Hill and UUTC.
What’s happening with you or in the community? We’d love to hear what’s going on, if you would like to share. Please send all news to cedarmountainnews@hotmail.com.
All news for next week has to be received by Monday evening in order to be published in the Thursday edition of the Transylvania Times
