AROUND THE HOUSE

I’ve been hacked! I was composing an email when I noticed dozens of messages popping up from the “Postmaster” for undeliverable emails. I discovered that the addresses were for people I didn’t even know. Heaven knows how many went through to those I do know. One cause of this is not using the blind carbon (bcc) when you email. If you send a message or forward something to several people their addresses are shown to everyone who receives it and can be hacked. Hackers love this. Spammers are also delighted.

My ladies hat club, the HmmmDingers, visited the new Dragonfly Café in Flat Rock last Saturday. It was excellent. We were impressed with the décor and the food. Most of us enjoyed the Roast Beast sandwich (yes that’s what it said on the menu). We didn’t leave a crumb on our plates. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. Our exuberant bunch made the most noise. The staff and owner were most pleasant, informative and accommodating. The HmmmDingers Ladies Hat Club is always open to new members and our only rule is that you have to wear a hat. We have a great time. Call Linda 828-877-5407 if interested.

What’s happening with you or in the community? We’d love to hear about it if you would like to share.
