AROUND THE HOUSE by Linda Packer Young
Going by the Community Center Sunday morning revealed a blanket of frost on the grass. None at our elevation but that signaled that it was time to bring in the rest of my houseplants. I read online about folks having problems with bugs of all sorts coming in with them. It was so bad one year that I put some of them in an extra large trash bag, sprayed with insecticide and closed the bag. That took care of that and it didn’t harm the plants either.
