We will have a vegan table as usual. Please bring your own reusable place setting. This is always a zero-waste event. Bring your instrument too if you like. It is always nice to hear folks playing during the event.Looking forward to celebrating with our stunning community. We will always remember the love and how our community came together during this time. Wishing everyone a day of gratitude and enough.
CEDAR MOUNTAIN HOLIDAY ARTISAN MARKET
To be held on Sunday, December 1st 11:30-4:30 PM at 10754 Greenville Highway at the Cedar Mountain Moonshine Distillery/Studio276 Art&Co. The Cedar Mountain Holiday Artisan Market provides a great opportunity to draw surrounding communities up the mountain in support of our artisans and local businesses. This is our FIFTH season supporting local! The market will host 30+ local vendors, live Christmas trees provided by Sundaze Gardens, take your own picture with Santa at the Kids’ Zone. The Cheef BBQ food truck and CDRMTN Coffee Bar will be on site. There will also be a Toy Drive to benefit Transylvania County families. Please bring a toy for a child ages 5-12 or a gift card for ages 13-17. THANKYOU! The raffle table--full of local goodies to win--will be selling tickets for $2 to benefit Cedar Mountain Music Project, a local non-profit raising disaster relief funds for Cedar Mountain small businesses. As you may already know, Cedar Mountain was greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene and 6 of our small businesses were flooded. Many artisans in our area also lost their market opportunities for end-of-the-year revenue. The Cedar Mountain Artisan Market is held in a prime location at the heart of the "downtown" crossroads of Highway 276 and Cascade Lake Road about 10 miles outside of Brevard. Come spend the day with us! This market will be OUTDOOR only. Parking is limited. Thank you for shopping local this season!

AROUND THE HOUSE by Linda Packer Young
I’m a little behind on the news and only just learned of the damage to the Symmes Chapel aka Pretty Place at YMCA Camp Greenville.
Visitors from all over the world travel to visit, Pretty Place. No thanks to Hurricane Helene it’s missing half of its roof and many of its support beams. However the wooden cross still stands as a symbol of hope.
The camp is committed to repairing the damage as quickly as possible but it will take a while.
