CROCKPOT COOK-OFF
Get ready to put your culinary creativity on display! The highly anticipated Crockpot Cook-off is coming up on Saturday, June 20th, at 6:00 PM, and it's going to be held at the Cedar Mountain Community Center. Bring your absolute best Crockpot recipe – whether it's a hearty stew, a sweet casserole, or a unique appetizer, we want to taste it! The setup time is at 5:00 PM, so come early to get your masterpiece ready. There will be awards given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, so prepare to compete! Come enjoy tasting and voting for your favorite dish. It's only a $5 donation to participate, and all the proceeds will directly benefit the Cedar Mountain Community Center, so come join the fun, support your community, and maybe even win a prize!

FAITH MEMORIAL CHAPEL
Faith Memorial Chapel welcomes folks of all denominations to our services, held on Sundays at 11:00 AM. We meet only in the summer and have no membership roll, so you won’t feel like a guest. Each Sunday, we have clergy from different churches that visit us to lead the service and we are blessed to also have great music to accompany the great message!On June 21st, we welcome the Rev. Dr. Lee Canipe. Lee serves as Senior Pastor at Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Before coming to Providence in 2016, he served for 12 years in Murfreesboro, NC as the Pastor of Murfreesboro Baptist Church. Music this Sunday will be provided by Katie Stuckey and Margaret Templeton, granddaughters of Barbara Stuckey. Katie is a piano teacher from Hendersonville, NC. Margaret is a collaborative pianist from Hendersonville, NC.

CEDAR MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY CENTER JULY 2026 POTLUCK PROGRAM CELEBRATION OF AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY
Come join your neighbors in celebrating America’s 250th Birthday at the July Potluck scheduled for July 13th. Bring your favorite summer dish to share.
Please have your food on the table by 6:15 PM and the meal will begin at 6:30 PM. A 250th Birthday cake and ice cream will be provided.
There will be a sing-a-long of several patriotic songs and a quiz bowl with questions/answers on the founding of America. Test your knowledge on our country’s history.

My honey and I purchased a brand new pressure washer. At first I didn’t think the PSI was strong enough but then realized the area I was trying to clean hadn’t been touched for several years and the gunk wanted to stay right where it was. I did prevail.
