AROUND THE HOUSE by Linda Packer Young

We are planning to put on an addition to our home to enlarge the kitchen, bathrooms, and great room Finding a place to stay for 2 or 3 months, that wouldn’t cost a fortune, and would allow us to bring our cats, was nigh on impossible. We hope that problem is now solved. We bought a small motor home that we can park on our property and plan to live there with the cats while the work is done. We had also hoped to make a trip along Rte 66 to California before too long and take the cats with us. The “boys” don’t like the cat carriers and loudly register their complaints all the way to the vet and back. We hope to acclimate them to the motor home by taking them on short trips before then without the carriers. (We will bring the carriers just in case. We also need a smallish 4WD vehicle that can be safely towed. Failing that we would need to pull a trailer with our SUV on it. We have decided to call the motor home The INFIRMARY, (with good reason).
