AROUND THE HOUSE by Linda Packer Young
I’ve always been one for an adventure but didn’t expect a trip down a side road to be quite so adventurous. The side road was bumpy and full of pot holes but we met two vehicles coming from the opposite direction so we forged ahead. The road did not get better. At one point we came to what looked like an impassible wall of rocks. However we could see where vehicles had gotten down it. If they could do it we could do it. I got out of the car to check to see where the tire tracks went and guided my honey up the rocks with our Kia. It looked like of those off road vehicle commercials. We eventually reentered civilization and found our way home. I thought it was great fun!!
