RHC CANTATA PERFORMANCES
The Rocky Hill Choir performed their annual Christmas Cantata at College Walk last Friday night to the delight of the residents.
On Saturday evening the choir filled the church with song as the cantata was performed. Many thanks to Lenoir Bishop for his excellent directing.
A beautiful depiction of the Nativity scene was presented by the kids with a couple of adults as a King and a Wiseman. Kudos go to Patty Stahl and her helpers for organizing the program.
The cantata will again be performed at a nursing home in Hendersonville on Wednesday where residents seldom receive visitors. We hope to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to all.
AROUND THE HOUSE
I mentioned before that I was going to build my own TV stand because I couldn’t find anything suitable. Well, I found a website called Hometalk where it showed recycling an old vanity into a TV stand. I have a vintage vanity and was considering getting rid of it. As it turns out it’s the right size and the perfect thing for my TV. Plus it will have a new life. Now that I have the solution, I just have to figure out how to get the thing up from the basement.
